Lovely SINGER 222K FREE ARM FEATHERWEIGHT sewing machine with Rare Manual and Attachments. The machine was made in March 31st 1954 at the famous Kilbowie Factory, Clydebank Scotland. And was sourced in Heathfield, East Sussex England with the following serial number: EJ622056. Condition not at all what you would expect from a sewing machine from the mid 1950s. The enamel surface looks lovely with the usual pin scratches and minor stencil wear toward the back of the removable table. The foot cord, while sound does have a bit of tape on it. Also the table lock screw has been replaced at some point. Functionally this machine performs perfectly. The motor is strong and very easy to control even at low speeds. Your sewing machine will work right out of the box on either 110v (USA) or 220v (European) with a small power adaptor (included). So bid with confidence!
